Bow Rehair

Rehairing a violin, viola, cello, or bass bow gives the bow it's ability to draw the best possible sound out of the instrument. When the instrument is played for an hour a day, we recommend your bow be rehaired once a year. The hair may still be visible, but like a tire with its tread worn down – the bow's hair loses it's grip, resulting in a diminished quality of sound. Contact us at the workshop: 613-231-2282.

Our luthier will make careful work of your bow rehair and tailor it to your needs in our workshop.
